# Radical Rituals for the High Holidays
[Recustom Team](https://learn.recustom.com/author/recustom-team) Sep 30, 2024 2:33:34 PM
A few months ago, we began our first-ever Radical Rituals Fellowship Program for Jewish individuals who identified as a Person of Color. Funded by the Jews of Color Initiative, for six weeks in the summer of 2024 the seven Radical Rituals Fellows, facilitated by Kimberly Ariella Dueñas, learned about High Holiday traditions, shared their experiences as Jews of Color, and tapped into the power of their experiences and blended identities to create their own High Holiday rituals.
We are proud to present their final creations in this booklet to inspire your own High Holiday practices.

"The most positive aspect of this program was genuinely being seen and supported by Recustom. I felt so honored to be able to share myself with the Jewish world...Recustom is virtual to the growth and evolution of Judaism."
"I want to share how incredible it was to be in community and meet new Jewish people/friends who share the desire to create and expand their Jewish identity and roots. It was a gift to be in this program."
"The most positive aspect was the sense of support I felt in creating the rituals...Thank you for a great cohort! I loved being in community with everyone and feel that I made some lasting connections."
Some of these Radical Rituals Fellows have gone on to become the facilitators for our [upcoming Learning Cohorts](https://info.recustom.com/2024-hh-learning-cohort). If you're interested in this program and would like to find your own Jewish community of like-minded individuals, [be sure to register](https://info.recustom.com/2024-hh-learning-cohort) for a chance to learn alongside them!
